This House Rules and Guest Behaviour Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions for all stays at Laskill Retreat. These rules are in place to ensure the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of all guests and to protect the property and surrounding environment.
Guests are required to comply with the following rules throughout their stay.
1. Smoking Policy
1.1 Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all buildings and accommodation units at Laskill Retreat.
1.2 Guests may smoke only in designated outdoor areas within the grounds.
1.3 Guests must dispose of cigarette ends and smoking materials responsibly.
1.4 Failure to comply with the smoking policy may result in additional cleaning charges and/or damage fees.
2. Pets
2.1 Laskill Retreat is dog-friendly.
2.2 Guests bringing dogs must comply with the requirements set out in the Pets Policy, which forms part of the site policies.
2.3 Guests remain responsible for the supervision and behaviour of their pets at all times.
3. Respect for Other Guests
3.1 Guests must behave in a manner that respects the comfort and privacy of other guests staying at the retreat.
3.2 Excessive noise, disruptive behaviour, or any activity that unreasonably disturbs other guests may result in intervention by management and may lead to termination of the stay.
4. Fireworks
4.1 Fireworks are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property or within the grounds of Laskill Retreat.
4.2 This restriction applies to all types of fireworks, sparklers, and pyrotechnic devices.
4.3 This rule is in place to protect guests, wildlife, animals, and surrounding rural properties.
5. Late-Night Gatherings
5.1 Guests are welcome to socialise and enjoy the facilities; however, any gatherings, parties, or group activities must move indoors from 12:00 midnight onwards.
5.2 Guests must ensure that noise levels are kept to a reasonable level during late hours.
6. Maximum Occupancy and Additional Guests
6.1 Only the number of guests included in the original booking confirmation are permitted to stay overnight at the property.
6.2 Additional overnight guests are not permitted without prior written approval from Laskill Retreat.
6.3 Failure to comply with occupancy limits may result in additional charges or termination of the booking.
7. Right to Enforce Rules
7.1 Laskill Retreat reserves the right to request that guests modify behaviour that breaches these rules.
7.2 In cases of serious or repeated breaches of these policies, Laskill Retreat reserves the right to terminate the booking and require guests to leave the property without refund.
